Yes! Because we are a BYOB location we do require reservations ahead of time. You can buy a ticket for one of our OPEN CLASSES and come by yourself, or bring a friend!
We recommend signing up as soon as possible! Some classes do have limited seating and will sell out.
As a small business we do also cancel classes that have few or no sign-ups 24-48 hours in advanced.
You can BYOB to our open and private classes and workshops at our studio at 2487 Summit Street. You may bring any food or drinks (alcoholic or non) you like with you. You can even order food to be delivered!
If you’re registered for an “offsite” class in a restaurant or bar you will be able to purchase food and beverages upon arrival, but these classes are NOT BYOB.
For Open Classes you will receive a full refund if you cancel at least 14 days in advance. You will receive a class credit if you cancel 48 hours in advance. There will be no refunds or class credits offered to those who no-show or cancel within 24 hours of the start time of the class.
Open Classes are subject to change dates or cancel due to private bookings, or low sign-ups for the class.
If you are more than 20 minutes late for a class or workshop, you may not be permitted to participate depending on the nature of the class.
All private event deposits are non-refundable as we devote much time and effort into the planning process and date reservations.
All private events are required to pay the private event minimum at the event, or the day following.
If bad or predicted bad weather causes us to cancel an event, you will receive the option to get a refund or a class credit for a future date of your choice. If our studio remains open and you choose to not come to the event due to inclement weather, you will receive a class credit for a future class good for 30 days if you request the credit at least 4 hours prior to the start of the event.
We are! We welcome all pets 🙂 Pets must remain on-leash and well-behaved.
No, this isn’t a question… it’s an EXC– USE. Our classes are structured for people who have little to NO experience in the arts. We walk you through each project step-by-step, and we will help you out as much as necessary. Remember, the best way to spice up your life is to try something new.
Children age 7+ are welcome to attend open events when accompanied by an adult! Adult and child may work on one painting/project together or work on their own separately. If you wish to work on it together, please indicate in the notes section when you purchase the ticket online so that we know to set up 2 seats at 1 place setting for the both of you.
Please keep in mind that other guests in the class may be consuming alcohol. We are not responsible for their actions, and we will only take action to remove a person from our business if we find it necessary for the safety of our other customers.
We try to release our next months calendar by the 1st of the previous month. (ie: May gets posted April 1st)
We recommend arriving around 15 minutes early – especially if you have food and beverages to set up for a group of people. If you’re interested in booking a private party at your own home, we will arrive 30 minutes early to set-up.
If you are more than 15 minutes late for a class or workshop, you may not be permitted to participate depending on the nature of the class. Your class ticket cost is forfeited at this point because we work hard to set up and reserve your seat. Please be respectful of our time and arrive on time.
Street parking in our area is all free, there are no meters or permit parking near us. We also have a shared parking lot right out our back door (bright blue door- feel free to come in this way!). Our parking lot is shared with neighboring residents and businesses so it is not guaranteed that there will be available spots. There is also typically plenty more street parking spots on Summit Street on the block past E. Tompkins , as well as Indianola Ave., which is just down E. Tompkins.
You can bring your own food or drinks (alcoholic or non) to our studio for any of our open events or private parties! We provide plastic cups and bottle openers. If you wish to bring food that requires utensils (or a birthday cake that needs to be cut), be sure to bring your own utensils, etc.
All paints are acrylic, which can be permanent on cloth if not removed while wet. We provide aprons, but we suggest wearing clothes you don’t mind if paint accidentally gets on them!
Our soaps are goats milk based, and our candles are 100% soy wax. All fragrances are toxin and phthalate free.
You can see our upcoming events, and book into any class you’d like and can see the number of tickets left to purchase (reach out if there is not enough, we may be able to help!). If you are booking with a group of people, be sure that you all book within the same hour to ensure that the class does not fill up before each person’s seat is reserved. Also be sure to make a note of who you are sitting with if you purchase tickets separately.
If you are interested in reserving our space or booking a private party, please visit our private events packages, and send us an email with any potential dates you may have in mind!
Yes! For locations within 15 miles of our Studio our offsite pricing deposit is $125, and then the same pricing per person as our private events linked below. Anything over 15 miles is $1 per mile over, each direction. We provide everything for the class, you just need to provide the space with tables and chairs! Almost all of our workshops are able to be done offsite, so don’t hesitate to reach out!
If you are interested in booking a private party, please visit our private events packages, and send us an email with any potential dates you may have in mind!
The private event deposit is $110 and is what is due to officially reserve the date and time slot for your group. This is a non-refundable deposit to protect us from last minute party cancellations as we put a lot of effort into making sure our private events run flawlessly. This also goes towards to additional ‘social hour’ you receive with private events.
If you are hosting a private event, and you placed the deposit, we do understand that the number of attendees may change before the date of the event. We always follow up 2 days in advance to retrieve your final headcount. The number that you tell us to plan for will be the amount of people you will be invoiced for after the event, even if some of your attendees back out last minute.
The reason for this is because we work very hard to prepare our supplies, sketch our canvases, and schedule enough artists to make your event the most smooth, perfect event you could imagine!
