No, this isn’t a question… it’s an EXC– USE. Our classes are structured for people who have little to NO experience in the arts. We walk you through each project step-by-step, and we will help you out as much as necessary. Remember, the best way to spice up your life is to try something new.
The only BYOB parties would be private events in our Clintonville studio at 2487 Summit Street or on-location in offices/conference rooms, per Ohio state liquor laws. If you’re registered for a class in a restaurant, you will be able to purchase food and beverages upon arrival, but these classes are NOT BYOB. Drinks and food are also not included in your registration cost when you sign up for the class, and are to be purchased separately upon arrival in these restaurants/bars.
There are two ways to paint with The Studio 614: You can either choose your own class and create your own party (minimum 10 people), or you can buy a ticket for one of our OPEN CLASSES and come by yourself (or with a date)!
For on-location parties, we will provide table cloths, tables and chairs (if needed), artist instruction, and cups, along with all of the painting supplies- brushes, canvasses, paints, etc.
You can VISIT OUR CALENDAR, and book into any class you’d like. If you are booking with a group of people, be sure that you all book within the same hour to ensure that the class does not fill up before each person’s seat is reserved.
We recommend arriving around 15 minutes early – especially if you have food and beverages to set up for a group of people. If you’re interested in booking a private party at your own home, we will arrive 30 minutes early to set-up.
All paints are acrylic and washable. If you are booking a Pinterest Party, your supplies could vary. Call to discuss
Children are only welcome to attend certain classes, since some of the classes are at 21+ bars. If you are unsure of whether or not you may bring your kids to one of the classes on our calendar, just give us a call! Each venue creates a different atmosphere for the classes, so some of them are family friendly, and others are more structured for adults to have a fun night out.
If you cancel at least 24 hours in advance, you will receive a class credit to use towards another class. If you cancel at least 7 days in advance, you will receive a full refund. There will be no refunds or class credits offered to those who no-show or cancel within 24 hours of the start time of the class.
The first registration for a private event is considered the non-refundable deposit to reserve our studio.
All private events which do not reach our minimum number of 10 people will still be required to pay the remaining amount.
If you are hosting a private event, and you placed the deposit, we do understand that the number of attendees may change before the date of the event. We always follow up a few days in advance to retrieve your final headcount. The number that you tell us to plan for will be the amount of people you will be invoiced for after the event, even if some of your attendees back out last minute.
The reason for this is because we work very hard to prepare our supplies, sketch our canvases, and schedule enough artists to make your event the most smooth, perfect event you could imagine!
The first registration that is placed for a private party will act as the deposit for that event and will officially reserve that date and time slot for your group. This is a non-refundable deposit to protect us from last minute party cancellations as we put a lot of effort into making sure our private events run flawlessly.
