On behalf of “Giving Tuesday”, the 5th national holiday in a row right after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday… this is the MOST important of all!
So today we are celebrating the local, Columbus non-profits that we were honored enough to raise funds for throughout our 2015 year of painting.
We held lots of painting fundraisers in all different parts of central Ohio. To name a few of the organizations we raised funds for:
Budgeting as an entrepreneur can be a scary task. Never knowing what your income is each month keeps us small businesses on edge. Throughout the year, I was reminded over and over again to step back in the middle of the week and recap the “purpose”… restore the “why”. Everyone has specific reasons for enjoying the ART they create, whether it’s yoga, cooking, running, skydiving, or nursing. The reason why I enjoy this is reflecting on what I want to give people: the experience, the memories, and the overall emotions involved. Showing support to local non-profits just clarifies and confirms that we are all in this together, and our passions can work really well together if we let them. Two is always better than one, but a multitude is unstoppable. Especially one with paint brushes.
