Can you say… art therapy + mimosas?! Painting these Ohio wood cut-out pieces was the PERFECT little Pinterest project for a Sunday morning. It wasn’t too tedious like our popular but extremely detailed ‘Shoe stadium painting. It was just relaxing enough to enjoy with some complimentary mimosas provided by our co-hosts Autumn & Kristen of Chic Ohio. What a perfect way to introduce and welcome them in with their new Chic Insta-blog.

I don’t think there is anything better than a room full of smiling women. Sunday mornings are a tough time for some of us… some may be struggling from a weekend of social engagements, and others may be dreading MONDAY. But everyone came out to enjoy this morning Pinterest + gluten free pastery brunch at Bake Me Happy.

I was reminded halfway through this event why I am so happy that Studio 614 serves so many women (since our market is 90% women). What’s the reason? I first hand get to watch women building each other up. From hearing “that painting looks great!” to a semi-tipsy heart-to-heart conversation about our darkest emotionally unstable times, seeing women come together in a room and make themselves vulnerable to create a piece of art without artistic confidence, laugh with complete strangers, and experience something new… THIS is what makes up strong women. And this is what I love!
